Hermann businesses host local and regional artists for September 1st First Friday Art Walk
The Hermann community and visitors are invited to join local and regional artists from 3-7 p.m. Friday, September 1st, 2023 for the September First Friday Art Walk.
Local businesses host artists on their sidewalks right outside of their doors for artists to showcase their work and provide live demonstrations. On the first Friday of each month, local and visitors can explore by trolley, car, bike, or foot to experience the historic downtown district built in the riverside wine town. The First Friday Art Walks are family-friendly, and participants will find something to do for all ages.

Art on Every Corner
Between historic red brick buildings and paved downtown streets are sidewalks filled with art on display from local and traveling artists. Participants can begin at the Visitor Information Center at Amtrak Station, 301 Wharf Street, and make their way south, or just find a place to hop off the trolley or park their car and wander through downtown Hermann! First Friday Art Walks officially begin at 3 p.m. and many businesses and artists stay open until at least 7 p.m.
Purchase Art from Local and Regional Artists
Local and regional artists from across the state will have art on display and available for you to take home. Some artists will even have live demonstrations of their work along First, Schiller, Fourth and Market streets.
